Policy:
Damages or Shortages in Shipment
All claims must
be made within 5 days of receipt of shipment. All shortages must be noted on
bill of lading upon acceptance of goods from the common carrier. KNUD
NIELSEN COMPANY WILL NOT ISSUE CREDIT FOR SHORTAGES ON SHIPMENTS THAT ARE
SIGNED CLEAR UPON RECEIPT OF GOODS. If your merchandise has been
damaged in shipping, please make a proper claim with the delivery carrier.
In some instances the carrier will come and inspect the damaged package. In
addition, reports of damages or shortages on shipments must be directed to your
Knud Nielsen Company salesperson. Please keep the original packaging.
Return
Instructions
Please contact
your Knud Nielsen salesperson to obtain a return authorization. No
returns can be accepted and no returned merchandise will be credited without
authorization from your salesperson. Merchandise must be returned in the
original packaging and in the same condition it was received. Items
returned to Knud Nielsen Company that are not properly packaged will not be
credited to your account. A 15% restocking fee will be charged where
applicable.
Irregularities
in Product
Every item we
carry originates from natural, plant-based materials. To the best of our
ability, it is our intention to produce to our customer what is promoted on our
web-site and in our catalog. However, with natural materials there will
always appear some degree of variability in the end product; therefore, there
are slight variations in color and texture (as there are in nature).
Nonetheless, our product quality is our hallmark, and if you are not
satisfied for whatever reason, please notify us and we will gladly consider
your claim for replacement or credit to your account.
